They not played on 100%, but still they were able to record deserved 1:0 win: expected goals scored Malmö 1.43, for Kalmar 0.41.

Elfsborg finished last season on 4th place, but in my opinion they will have serious troubles to repeat that result. Their the best player from previous season (according to the ratings) Simon Strand is still not fully fit. Team doesn't looked convincing in Cup semifinal against Hammarby and they even looked worse in first match of the season against poor Mjallby - they lost 0:2 at home. For sure team confidence is not on the highest level. Really all players looked completely out of sorts - lack of creativity, lack of movement and lack of energy. From what I saw, Elfsborg at the moment is not in the shape to make troubles for Malmö.

Malmö looks more shaped now and in overall they are better team. They are huge favorite of this game, especially at home.
