Gameday in La Paz for the first round of the group B between The Strongest & Libertad.

Of course as always for team like The Strongest, away team will be in big trouble because of the altitude of 3600 meters. We could see two days ago, I went on Timao despite the altitude and they were much stronger but finally they lost 2-0 and it shows one more time that altitude can make so much the difference even if there is an important gap between both teams. We had that amazing example years ago between The Strongest and River, The Strongest made 1-1 at home but in Argentina they lost 6-0.

The Strongest will be without midfield Rodrigo Amaral who will be suspended between 6 months and one year after assaulting an assistant referee few weeks ago.

Libertad will be without important player Hugo Martinez, he already missed last games.

They are in a group with Caracas and Athletico PR so it's really a group where both teams will have a chance to go through, I really don't rate Caracas able to make something.

On the field, Libertad has stronger qualities with players as Julio Enciso, Bogarin, very very experienced striker Roque Santa Cruz etc but the gap of level is really not that important so I really expect The Strongest to make the difference on this game without too much problems.

For this season The Strongest decided to change their striker Rolando Blackburn who left to Royal Pari. They added Enrique Triverio who is very experienced and a good player at this level. He was decisive against la U de Catolica and they qualified thanks to him.

I expect The Strongest to go with their offensive 4-3-3 on this game and put a high pressure with Jeyson Chura- Tiverio & Martin Prost in front. Midfield with Saucedo-Ursino & Wayar.

I expect 2-0 or 2-1 for The Strongest.
