HJK Helsinki welcome visitors the neighboring city of Espoo at Bolt Arena downtown Helsinki. This is the first round of Finnish Veikkausliiga, the highest tier of Finnish football. As a Finn, I know my home country's football extremely well and my fans can expect superb results betting on Veikkausliiga ans the second highest level, Ykkönen where my results were very good indeed! HJK are massive favorites to win the Veikkausliiga once again. They are clearly the best team in this league! The betting market estimates their chance of lifting the trophy at the and of the season at approximately 80%, but I would say the correct number is closer to 90%. We will have to profit betting on HJK before everyone realize just how dominant they are.. They have quite a few new players and are expected to improve even further as the season progresses. They will be much better than last year and are expected to win the league by more than 5 points' difference! For example, defender Jukka Raitala from Minnesota United, MLS, where teams from both USA and Canada play. It is a pretty high level league actually! Joona Toivio, also a defender, joined the the team for this season from Swedish team, Häcken. These guys have played well even in the Finnish national team that even played in the EURO 2020 last summer even beating the semifinalists Denmark in Copenhagen 1-0 and are super-stars in Veikkausliiga! Forward Bojan Radulovic,22, has joined the team from Swedish AIK (loan) and is an excellent addition the the team! He is a tall guy and well surely score a big number of goals in Veikkausliiga and in at European stage as well. He has found the net several times already during the pre-season. He will make HJK's offense a lot more dangerous than it was last season, enabling more offensive variations. Last season Roope Riski was often too "alone" and also suffered from injuries. As a whole HJK were often too predictable offensively. HJK played in the UEFA Conference league last season taking two wins and earning a lot of prize money. This is something Honka can only dream of.. This season HJK have a chance to even make it to the Europa League group stage. Their players' salary budget is around 2 million euros this season - more than double compared to that of Honka. I recommend my fans to follow promising Miska Ylitolva,17, closely this season. He is a super-talented youngster destined for big things in the future and already played for the Finnish national team in a friendly match recently.

HJK have not reached the best results during the pre-season but have also faced tough opponents. This offers my fans and myself a good chance to bet on them here with the -0.5 goals handicap option as they are, quite surprisingly, under-valued by the betting market. They have a 66% chance of winning this match at Bolt Arena where they dominate almost all matches in Veikkausliiga! They have loud fans to support them. HJK played an excellent match a while ago against a good Swedish team Hammarby at home. They controlled the match before defender-left back Murilo Henrique de Araujo Santos, was sent off in the first half. They were still available to make it 2-2 in the second half!

Honka, on the other hand, have will surely improve from the disappointing last season. Their offensive game has better structure and faster pace and they also have a few new interesting players. The beat two Swedish teams - Djurgården and Helsingborg in friendlies in the pre-season. These were promising performances but the betting market has over-reacted to them. Friendlies always include a lot squad rotating and players' motivation is rarely 100%.. Honka also won the Finnish Liiga Cup, but this cup is not of high importance for the Veikkausliiga teams. On the 2nd of March they defeated HJK in this cup but HJK's actual squad was abroad during in preparation for the Veikkausliiga that time and Klubi 04 replaced them. They are HJK's reserve/youth team and play in the third highest level of Finnish football, Kakkonen, which is of very low level. Even so, they led the match 1-0 for a long time.. the final score was 3-1 for Honka. There is simply too much "hype" around Honka ahead of the season. The difference in class, in all areas of the game, is big in HJK's favor!
