Wycombe is a very weak side, from Championship. They are at the bottom with 14 defeats in 23 games and having the worst defence after conceding 35 goals. Wycombe is struggling a lot in Championship so this competition is totally useless for them, as we saw in the previous round where they played with reserves.

They also have few experience in the elite football, as they were promoted the last season from League One in the playoffs. They weren’t able to make good transfers, so the result is the team we see now: one of the worst sides in the Championship.

Of course their plan will be to try to be defensive and solid at the back, but after seeing their performances in the Championship against weaker sides (1.52 goals conceded per match), I’m not expecting Wycombe working out his plan successfully.

On the other hand, Tottenham arrives to this match with the mind in Liverpool's game on Thursday. But the FA Cup is a real chance to win a title for the Spurs, and they have a deep squad with enough quality to be competitive here.

Dele Alli and Lo Celso are out, while most probably Harry Kane and Son will be reserved here. But is expected to see a pretty strong squad, with Gareth Bale, Vinicius, Lucas Moura, Winks or Lamela.

The Brazilian striker Vinicius has been scoring a lot of goals in the cup since joining Tottenham in the summer. He has already netted six goals in 13 competitive matches, two of which came in the last round fixture against Marine AFC. Therefore, he will be heading into this game full of confidence.

From a tactical perspective, he could cause problems for the Wycombe defence with his unpredictable and rather versatile nature in the final third.

Tottenham Hotspur have looked quite solid in defence this season and given their current run of form, they are unlikely to concede any goals against the bottom club of the Championship. Offensively, however, they have looked quite ineffective when dealing against a deep defensive line, though a lot could depend on how Wycombe execute their plans. But with the likes of Gareth Bale, Vinicius, Moura and the other quality offensive players, I’m not expecting a shorter result than 0-2 here.
