Vietnam host Oman for this Asia World Cup third stage round of World Cup Qualification clash at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi, in northern Vietnam, Thursday evening Beijing time. Neither team have a chance to qualify for the 4th stage of qualification, so the stakes are not particularly high here.. Indeed, neither country are a big football country and this match probably will not offer the best possible entertainment for football fans to watch. I do expect some goals though! The game has a lot of interest in terms of profitable football betting!

Home advantage is often bigger in matches with lower stakes than in the ones with massive stakes, and this is indeed the case in this match. China of course, despite surely being a serious contender in international football in the future, are not a very good team yet.. The match was more balanced than the 3-1 for Vietnam would reflect but it must still be a huge morale boost for the hosts! Last November Vietnam challenged the group leaders, Saudi-Arabia, pretty well at home despite losing 0-1 at home. The Saudis were the better team but not by a big margin, and Vietnam in fact even recorded more dangerous attacks! With some luck they might have grabbed a point from this match. Oman are narrow favorites even in Hanoi, but the clever bet is Vietnam +0.5 goals handicap, with around 60% chance of winning!
