After losing to Leicester in the first game of the 1/8 finals by 2-0, Rennes did exactly what was expected of them and what they had to do. They played a fantastic game against Lyon away and celebrated with 4-2, and it should be noted that they scored three goals in the first half. Led by the great Lovro Majer, for whom some of the world's leading clubs are already in great demand, Rennes provided the match they could only wish for. Their midfield and attack acted phenomenal and they simply acted unstoppable. Leicester is showing a rather inconsistent game this season. Of course, a big reason for that is the large number of injured players, and it must be said that they were unlucky when it comes to injuries. Many times during the championship, Brendan Rodgers had to combine the lineup and a great deal of uncertainty is noticeable especially in Leicester's defense. In today's match, they will not be able to count on the starting central defenders, Soyuncu and Evans, and Rodgers will have to combine something again. They enter this rematch after a very bad game against Arsenal, in which they suffered a 2-0 defeat. Defeat in itself is not such a problem, but what they showed on the field is very worrying. Maybe they were already in the rematch against Ren in their thoughts, but they really looked really bad in that match. According to the announcements from the Leicester camp, they will not have too much desire to attack in this match, because they have a favorable result from England. But they can very easily pay dearly to leave the organization of the game to a great host, who certainly has individuals who can solve the match with one move.
