Every weekend I keep asking myself when reviewing a potential bet on a game involving Roma - “can I trust this team”? And this time, it feels, I have a positive answer. For quite some time AS Roma has been, probably, the most moody team in the competition. You could never tell what side of the bed they would get up that morning.

Mourinho’s men have now gone 3 rounds without a win, drawing all of their games, 2 of latter ones with the same 2-2 scoreline. Truth be told, both Verona and Sassuolo are tough opponents to face. Especially the “Robin Hood” Sassuolo team that takes from the rich and gives to the poor this season.

In both cases Roma found the guts to fight back from behind. Such acts of heroism often play a big role in the team's foundation and in this short period of time, I believe, Roma will be able to pick up where they left last weekend.

Spezia is also the sort of opposition, which feels may be comfortable (finally) for Mourinho's team to face. They were dreadful offensively against Bologna the other week, managing only a couple of shots towards goal in the 2nd half and deservedly losing 1-2. A round earlier Spezia lost to Fiorentina with the same scoreline. Now the trend is really worrisome for Motta’s men as they’ve conceded at least 2 goals for 3 straight rounds. 3 weeks ago Salernitana managed to hit 2 past Provedel. With this free scoring AS Roma side, I do believe, Spezia is bound to experience major issues containing Abraham & Pellegrini.

Visitors do have a pretty long injury list, but it’s gone like this for a while now and the team has to feel accustomed to these absentees.

Should be a close game, where I expect Roma to finally return to winning ways.
