Interesting story here: KV Kortrijk have just sold their striker Mboyo to STVV. He was a key player of KV Kortrijk and played almost all the matches, sometimes as captain. He wasn’t happy with the contract-extension offered by KV Kortrijk and thus chose STVV which offered him a contrac of 2.5 seasons. His contract with Kortrijk ran until next summer, so STVV had to come up with money. An amount of 300,000 euros was agreed between both clubs.

Mboyo immediately formed an excellent attacking duo with Yuma Suzuki. They played very well in the 3-1 win against Leuven.
