They have allowed 26 goals but I emphasize that their number of expected goals against (xGA) is only 21.67. Their midfielders should be more active in defending of they want to challenge for a top-6 position. I believe they are capable of doing this..  The bookmakers see Hodd only the favourites here - offering odds of around 2.20 on the home win. However, based on my strongly data-based expert analysis - with the expected line-ups - Egersund should be marginal favourites here.  The recommended bet is the +0.5 goals handicap on the visitors. According to a well-known and respected German website, Transfermarkt.com, Egersund are the bigger team here - by a decent margin! Indeed, their players have an estimated total market value of 4.80  million euros. This is, in my expert opinion, a little too low. The Hodd squad is valued only at only 2.40 million - which is more or less correct.

Moss have won only one of their last six games. In their last match they visited Asane. It was a 2-2 draw bit the hosts recorded many more total shots as well as shots on goal - 7-4 to be precise. Before this they beat Mjondalen, currently in last place, as very clear favourites on the betting market. They did not really impress me, despite winning 3-1. Indeed, the ball possession was 53-47% and Hodd had just one more total shot. In round 12 Raufoss beat Hodd 6-1. The visitors' defence was  almost hilariously unbalanced and leaky in this match.. Egersund have improved recently, losing only one of their last five matches. This defeat came in their last game - 0-5 against Lyn at home. It was a strangely poor performance but Lyn also played a very good game. The visitors deserved to win but the final score is very misleading! The bookies seem to have overreacted to this result -I, of course, will not! The ball possession was 49%-51%. Egersund, too, had their chances to score - recording eight total shots.
