They won 5-0 and fully deserved the three points. However, they generated "only" 2.32 in xG. KTP were poor defensively, as expected, but still recorded a decent nine total shots.. Before this Inter welcome Haka - and were very clear favourites on the betting market. However, they had to settle for a 1-1 draw. Inter were strong in the 1st half but in the 2nd half Haka improved a lot, were energetic, and in the end definitely deserved a point. With a little bit of luck they could even have won the game.. Both teams recorded four shots on goal but Inter did generate more in xG though..  On the 1st of June Inter beat Jaro, currently in 10th/12 place, as clear favourites on the betting market.. The final score in Jakobstad was 0-1. Especially taking into account Jaro's J. Brunell's (very stupid and totally unnecessary) red card in the 24th minute Inter's performance – even taking into account the poor (natural grass) pitch – Inter's performance did not convince me as a whole. Indeed, Inter had only 54% ball possession and recorded just three more total shots – 11-8 to be precise. Moreover, Inter had only one big scoring chance and generated only 0.10 more in xG than the hosts. Before this Inter beat SJK, a team that had many very  important players out, 1-0 on the road as clear favourites according to the bookmakers. Inter recorded only one big scoring chance but did unarguably defend well, allowing SJK none.. It was a solid – but not all that impressive performance from Inter.. SJK, too, had their chances to score, recording 11 total shots. Before this Inter were good at home, beating Ilves 3-1. However, Ilves recorded many more total shots on Inter and recorded only one big scoring chance..  On the 10th of last month Inter were disappointing, failing to defeat MIFK in Mariehamn - despite being priced around 1.40 to win by the bookies! It was a 2-2 draw and MIFK,too, could easily have emerged victorious..

Gnistan are currently in 7th place with 15 points in their pocket, However, their number of expected points (xPTS) is a bit bigger.. They have scored 14 goals and have conceded 16 goals. Their number of xG per game is bigger, 1.57 to be precise. Similarly to Inter, Gnistan have been better than last season, despite missing many key players in several games this season. They are missing several key players here as well but the bookies have definitely overreacted to these absences. Gnistan have a pretty big players salary budget and can field a decent starting eleven today. They do not have the biggest fan-base in Finland, or a fancy stadium, but the atmosphere at Mustapekka Areena is expected to be good here. At home they have lost only one of their last five games, winning 3/5 these matches. Gnistan have lost only two of their last 10 matches. In  their last game they faced VPS in Vaasa, as underdogs on the betting market. It was a somewhat balanced game as a whole. VPS recorded one more total shot - 11-1o be precise. The hosts also generated a little more in xG. Before this they defeated KTP 2-1 at home, generating 1.24 more in xG. They also had many more total shots. Gnistan defended in a solid way - not allowing the visitors a single big scoring chance! On the 28th of May (local time) Gnistan showed how good they can be - crushing Ilves, a strong team, 3-0 at home as clear underdogs according to the bookies. It was a Suomen Cup (Finnish Cup) battle.
