Beerschot host one of most traditional Belgian football clubs, Anderlecht, for this Jupiler Pro League round 21 clash at Olympisch Stadion in Antwerp. To be honest, I do not expect a super entertaining match here.. I do expect, however, a more open and high-scoring match than the betting market, most pro sports bettors and experts - and perhaps the sports media in general. The main reasoning is that I see Anderlecht having way too much firepower for the hosts to deal with! Anderlecht have scored 43 so far this season which the second highest number in this league - after the surprise leaders Royale Union SG. The overall level of the this league has been on the rise recently and despite the fact that it is in general of course nowhere as good as Spanish La Liga, English Premier League, Italian Serie A, German Bundesliga or even the French Ligue 1 it is still pretty high level football with a long list of young, promising players, especially from outside Europe whom the big clubs, with more resources, in better leagues keep an increasingly close eye on. Anderlecht have a few promising talents in the squad too. I recommend my fans to watch this league too moving forward. Roughly speaking, the top-10 teams are capable of good, often very aggressive and fast-tempo football. Let's take a more closer look at this betting-wise very interesting match..

The Jupiler Pro League is relatively balanced -  except for the worst team in the league -  Beerschot. They would need a lot of luck - or are Anderlecht, who are currently in the 4th place with 35 points and have a goal difference of 43:26 -  to have a very bad day or perhaps underestimate the lowly opponent.. I do not think this is probable as they have a good manager and also experienced players in the team.. Anderlecht will probably prove on the pitch - very clearly -  that the difference in class is big between the teams.. Offense is the the area where Anderlecht outclass the hosts by the widest margin. Indeed, Beerschot have not scored in any of their latest five matches! In their most recent match they were close to 50% favorites to win at home according to the betting versus Oostende but lost 0-2 after a very disappointing performance! I rate Anderlecht as the second best team in this league, and think they are, a bit surprisingly, once again a bit under-valued by the betting market.. The main rationale for this pick is, however, the fact the Beerschot are even worse than the betting market seems to believe. I would not be at all surprised if they once again failed to find the net despite that fact that the visitors do not have a rock-solid defense. Luckily for them, the hosts most likely will not be able to test them here!
