Newcastle started the season with some problems because of injuries but since they recovered their key players the team has been one of the best in the league and even they are in 7th place right now, they are only 4 points behind 3rd place and have played less two games so a win here would put them in great position to make the Champions League places. The team has won their last 3 league games, 1:0 on the road against West Ham, 2:1 at home against Brentford and last week 3:0 on the road against Leicester in a game they even forced the issue so the team is really well rested for this game. At home Newcastle has also been a great force like always, 8 wins, 2 draws and 4 losses with 26:18 but their record would have been better if they didn't had all those problems of injuries in the past.

For this game Newcastle is without Hall, Lascelles, Botman and Willock. Gordon is doubtful but seems likely to play.

Manchester United season in the Premier League is over, 13th place with no chances to get to the European Spots and also no relegation danger and their whole focus will be in the Europa League because in case they win the competition they would get a Champions League spot for next season so all their chips are focused on the Europa League and especially after coming of 2:2 draw on the road against Lyon, they need their team fresh and ready for the 2nd leg. On the road Manchester United has struggled all season long too, 4 wins, 5 draws and 6 losses with 16:16 in goals is will now be on the road against one of the best teams lately.

For this game Manchester United is without Martinez, Diallo, Heaven, Collyer, Evans and DeLigt.

Right now from what I have seen from Newcastle they have been one of the best teams playing football in the Premier League if not the best, since they got heathly they started to look like that team from 2 years ago and even they got a bad news of their coach health who will miss this game I still think they are the clear favourites to win this game, they are well rested for this game and this is a very important game for them to win for their goal to make the Champions League and with Manchester United putting all their focus on the Europa League we can see them resting some players for the 2nd leg vs Lyon but to be fair, even if Manchester United would use their ideal squad I still would go with Newcastle right now, so take them to win here.
