FC Arouca are doing a solid season so far with 4 draws and achieving 13 points and are right now in the 10th position. They didn't start so well and everyone was saying that was impossible to survive in the 1st League with the same players they had that achieved the promotion via play-offs. They didn't buy many players for this new season, they bought the centre-backs Abdoulaye Ba and Gaston Campi, the right defender Tiago Esgaio, the midfielder Valderrama and the strikers Or Dasa and Oday Dabbagh. Unfortunately for Arouca one of the main centre-backs Sema Velazquez got a serious injury and probably will miss the rest of the season that's why they bought in the last days Abdoulaye Ba. In the midfielder they have an important absence for this game, the most experienced player of the team who played in good teams, he played in Rio Ave when they made the best classification ever, Pedro Moreira. They are more comfortable in the table than Vizela and can be a bit relaxed for this game. They come from a lose against the poor Santa Clara and I think that it will affect them as they are one of the teams in the 1st League with less economical conditions and they flight back to Porto recently and will more tired than Vizela's players.

Vizela are not having the season that I was expecting. I expected Vizela to play every game to win and to be fighting until the end for the top8, but at the moment they are in the 15th position with only 10 points, but the true is that they have minus 1 game than the majority of the teams as their game against Belenenses SAD was postponed due to Covid cases in Belenenses. In the last game Vizela had a lot of problems to stop Braga and lost 4-1. But before that game they made a very good game in my opinion against Estrela da Amadora fo the Portuguese Cup. They have one of the best coaches in the league, Alvaro Pacheco who won the award from Liga Portugal to the best player of 2nd League ahead to Bruno Pinheiro who was the champion with Estoril. They bought some new players and the coach advised that the team would need almost 2 months to reverse this bad moment. They have better players, in my opinion better coach and for sure better collectively. They have only 1 win in 12 games for the league, but they deserved to have more. Specially against Estoril where when they were winning by 1 goal the VAR annuled one goal by a 1cm offside that would give the 2-0 and then they suffered in the last minutes. They have a big must win here to overcome this moment and they always play to win, with this coach they are not going to be the typical team that will lose time to keep 0-0.
