Yes, the win over Salzburg on the road was impressive but in other games, the opponents were weaker of xG ratings were similar. Losses were against the Spanish top teams Barcelona and Real Madrid (both 0:3) and Shakhtar (0:2). During 8 games, Brest created an xG of 9.6, xGA was at 12.5 with a difference of -3.
