Gil Vicente started well the season with a win against Tondela for the League Cup and with another expressive win against Boavista in the first game for the league by 3-0, but then they decreased a lot their performance and it's hard to understand why or to try to find the main for it. Recently, they were eliminated by Leca from the 3rd league of Portugal but contrary to what was expected it motivated them a lot and they gave the response in the last game against Moreirense where they started losing 1-0 and with an amazing reaction were able to score 2 goals and to put themselves in advantage of the game, but then a dangerous free kick in the last minute of the game (90+5th minute) gave the draw by an amazing shot of Steven Vitoria. For this game, they lost 2 players, the centre-back Lucas Cunha due to receive the 5th yellow and the midfielder Vitor Carvalho, but I think that they can be replaced without any problem by Iago Maidana and Matheus Bueno respectively. I think that they will keep chasing the way to the wins back to get the motivation they need. Their home factor is really strong and they almost stopped Benfica at home this season, just conceded the 1st goal at the minute 86. They are better team collectively , big home factor and big must win.

Famalicao come from a difficult season where they fought almost until the last week of the season to survive in the main league with an amazing quality since the president Miguel Ribeiro decided to buy the coach Ivo Vieira who did an incredible job in Moreirense before. Everyone expected Famalicao to be fighting this season for Europa League, mainly because that amazing comeback they did in the last season, but the true is that they started terribly. They only achieved their 1st win for the game in the game number 9 of the league. Defensively Famalicao have a lot of problems and concede many chances to every opponent and it justifies what happened in the last game at home against Portimonense where they were completely destroyed by the mobility of Nakajima from Portimonense. They will face a similar team as the trio of the attack of Gil Vicente have a lot of mobility aswell by Samuel Lino and Fran Navaro with Murilo more vertical. I expect a open game with both teams creating goal chances but with the defense of Famalicao being more nervous and more tired as they are playing with the same team for many consecutive games.
