In my opinion Lens have really strong chances to make good result in today's match up. For me Lens +0 AH (or more safe +0.5/more risky -0.5) looks like very good bet.

Lens have very solid record against Clermont as they didn't lost in 14 of last 18 matches against them. Clermont are league newcomers, Lens won last three consecutive matches against such opponents in Ligue 1.

On the other hand Clermont have huge problems with creativity at the moment-since October they played 7 league matches and 7 times in a row they had expected goals scored number below 1.01. In comparison to that, Lens didn't go below 1.86 in last 6 matches in a row.

Lens is very consistent in current season, they went unbeaten in 11 of 15 matches. Even in those matches where they lost, they played on really good level and they not fully deserved for losses. Against Strasbourg they had 2.31 expected goals scored (Strasbourg 1.15 ), against Montpellier they had 1.10 (Montpellier 1.47) against Lyon they had 2.44 (Lyon 2.03), against Brest they had 1.81 (Brest 1.03). In last round they made one point against in-form, 6th Angers. That was good match from both sides (2:2) and Lens coming here in good form and in good mood.

Clermont lost last 5 Ligue 1 matches in a row and for sure they not coming here full of confidence. In last round they recorded very painful loss. They lost 0:1 on away against Reims by goal in 90+1. Morale in team must be very bad now, Clermont looked very poor in that game-had only 4 shots..

In these circumstances I see extremely good chances for Lens to make positive result today. They are simply better team and very underrated in this match up. They deserves to be much bigger favorite.
