Atalanta welcomes Venezia at Gewiss stadium in a northeren Italy derby game. Atalanta won against Juventus in Torino 1-0 and that was their first win against Juventus in Torino after 32 years. Zapata scored after a fine pass from Djimsiti in the 5th minute, after a goal Atalanta got on the defensive approach and claimed a historic win. This was the first game after ten consecutive games, in which Atalanta didn't concede a goal. Atalanta's form is on a rise after a slow start of the season and I think they won't be having problems defeating Venezia today. Goosens is still injured but Atalanta has a lot of quality players so nothing will change in Atalanta's play. Zapata is on fire, Demiral played very well in the last game and for this game, Ilicic and Pasalic could prevail instead of Malinovskyi and Pessina.
Venezia is coming after a defeat at home against Inter, reigning champion won 2-0 but the thing that can worry Venezia's fans is a poor performance from their team. Inter had 27 shots on the goal, the result could be a lot higher but Sergio Romero was magnificent on Venezia's goal. Venezia doesn't have a strong roster like Atalanta, coach Zanetti said prior to the game that he doesn't exclude possible changes to give a breath to some players. I think right now Venezia cant cope with the best teams in Italy, Atalanta is strong at home and in rising of the form so winning with at least 2 goals difference should be a problem for Gasperini's team today. I don't expect a lot of goals, Venezia will for sure play very defensive and try to endanger Musso's goal from counterattacks so Atalanta to win and under 3.5 goals is a good bet for me here I expect 2-0 or 3-0 for Atalanta.
