Maritimo are having a weird season. They choose a bad coach in my opinion to start the season, the spanish Julio Velazquez who have been sacked from all of his last clubs like Alcorcon, Udinese, Vitoria Setubal and now from Maritimo. They changed president after more than 20 years with Carlos Pereira as president and now the new president is changing a lot of things and was him who decided to sack Julio Velazquez and bought finally a good coach Vasco Seabra who did good jobs on his last seasons. Two seasons ago he made the best season of Mafra's history and then moved to Boavista that invested a lot but a team that don't pay the salaries to the players and after some good matches they started to go down in the table. Vasco Seabra is only 38 years old and wasn't a player before so this means that he has a lot of knowledge. They will play again in their own stadium after some games playing in their main rival stadium, Estadio da Choupana from Nacional da Madeira. They have an important absence Xadas but it will open space for the best player of the team in my opinion Rafik Guitane, a u20 champion for France, left foot and amazing technique. The stadium will be full as Maritimo supporters were waiting for some time to see their team back in the stadium. Very big must win for Maritimo due to the last results and very motivated for playing in the stadium and the new coach effect.

Pacos de Ferreira are in a very bad moment too, with only 1 win in the last 11 matches (I didn't count the win against Aguias Moradal for the Portuguese Cup as it was against an amateur team). They started well with some good matches, they usually start the games really well, pressing a lot and they do everything to score very early in the game but even if they are able to score the 1st goal then they start only defending and concede a lot of chances to the other teams. But the main reason for them to start well the season is that they started the official team first than the other teams, same as Santa Clara due to the Uefa Conference League qualifiers, but as the other teams started to get the rythm aswell they started to have more difficulties to win games. In the last game they could have beat a weak opponent, Moreirense, but conceded a game in the last minutes by Andre Luis. I don't see the team happy, probably they are a bit tired of the coach Jorge Simao and I think that it will affect this game.
