FK Sochi vs Rubin Kazan

Sochi has been playing really well lately, they are current in 2nd place and only 6 points behind Zenit, but less one game, a win here would put them 3 points behind Zenit and if Sochi continues to play like they have been maybe they have a chance for the league title. In the last 5 games, Sochi has won 4 games and in that stretch they scored an impressive 12 goals, their attack is rolling, especially at home where they scored 7 goals in their last 2 games, that includes their last win over CSKA by 4:1. Sochi is also one of the best home teams in the league, it's very tough for opponents to face them in Sochi, they have won 5 of their 6 home games and today I really like their chances to get another win at home. Sochi has four players injured for this game, but I don't see a big issue here because they have been without them for a while and their results have been great.

Rubin Kazan are sitting in 9th place but in the last 5 games they have been struggling big time, 1 win, 2 draws and 2 losses and even they had 2 draws they were a bit lucky with those results because performance wise they have been playing really bad. Rubin Kazan is also a team who struggles big time on the road like we saw in the last game where they got smashed by 1:5 against Rostov and now they will face one of the best home teams in the league who are in great shape, I see trouble for this team today once again, especially because they will miss their best player Khvicha Kvaratskhelia who is suspended for this game and also Despotovich and Samoshnikov are doubtful for the game, if one or both miss this game the chances for Sochi will be even bigger.

We have two teams who are current on a different level in my opinion, Sochi is playing their best football of the season and having amazing results, their attack is producing a lots of scoring chances and most important they are scoring a lot of goals and Rubin Kazan is right now struggling big time, poor results combined with poor performances and also missing their best player for this game too, overall I see Sochi winning this game here and continue their run of victories.
