Vizela are one of the sensation teams of the league so far. They were my favourite team of last season in Portuguese 2nd league. They bought amazing players to make a solid season in their first season in the first league, they bought players from Ajax like Alex Mendez, Ivanildo the centre-back who was formed on Sporting CP, Bruno Wilson formed on Braga, Claudemir from Braga aswell. They invested in a good team to be one more year in the 1st League. They have one of the best coaches of the league, who received the MVP from the last season Alvaro Pacheco who was champion on Vizela in 2 consecutive years and for sure when he leaves Vizela he will join a top team in Portugal. The coach Alvaro Pacheco doesn't often rotate many players for the Cup as he did against Vitoria Setubal, they played with their best players without rests.

Probable line-up: Pedro Silva; Koffi - Bruno Wilson - Ivanildo - Kiki; Claudemir - Marcos Paulo - Samu; Kiko Bondoso - Francis Cann and Schettine.

Estrela da Amadora got promoted in the last season 2020/2021 and almost were champion where they lost against Trofense in the final. They started really bad this year and the coach who promoted them to the 1st League was sacked after 3 or 4 games with 1 point and 1 draw, it was really strange. They decided to buy Richardo Chéu and he is doing a good job, but they keep conceding many chances to the other teams like they did in the last games. They come from 2 draws, against Porto B 0-0 and Vilafranquense 2-2 where they were winning 2 times and suffered the 2nd goal in the last minute of the game. They will face a team with big dynamics offensively and the team that creates more goal chances per game and so I expect a really tough game for Estrela. They can make some small adjusts for this game, but they will do everything to qualify to the next phase, but Vizela are so much better team collectively and have better players and specially one of the best coaches. They have an important absence, the left winger Madson who is very strong in 1v1 situations and very fast got injured against Vilafranquense and was replaced by Miguel Rosa during the game and will be replaced by him for this game for sure, but there is a big difference between them.
