I trust Alaves to get something from this trip to Cadiz as a lot of statistical aspects point to visitors deserving more recognition from bookmakers.

All of the above leads us to another interesting aspect - Cadiz is currently the worst home team in LaLiga with a modest 1 win in 8 home games, yes, against Barcelona. Moreover, they've only managed to get 4 goals scored and, yes, 50% of these goals were scored against Barcelona.

In other words, Cadiz is by nature an underdog team in any circumstance and in home fixtures more often than not.

Alaves, in turn, is quite decent on the road and overall boast greater experience and slightly superior squad.

They will miss one of the leading defenders Laguardia (suspension) and veteran goal-getter Perez is a doubt. The latter, though, is expected to feature by most resources.

Machin's men lost to Atletico Madrid in the previous round, failing to contain the opposition with 10-men after Laguardia's red card. They were, in fact, really close to taking a draw but Luis Suarez 90' minute goal left them empty handed. Prior to that, Alaves took a 1-1 draw against Osasuna on the road and a really nice 1-0 away win vs. Dep La Coruna in the Copa del Rey.

Visitors should have more than enough about them to hold off Cadiz here.
