In my opinion Coritiba have really good chances to make 3 points in today's match up.

Coritiba is a leader of the table, but they are only 4 points above CRB (5th place), so for sure they have huge motivation to win. Only 8 rounds left so every win at this stage of the season have huge value. Coritiba is without a win in last 4 matches in a row, but they didn't played bad at all, especially in home matches. In last two home matches they failed to win (against Confianca and Cruzeiro), but they had really big unluck. In those two matches they had 41 shots with 68% average ball possession. On the other hand they allowed opponents to make only 14 shots. If they continue to play on this level, good results have to come. Sampaio is in the middle of the table and their motivation till end of the season is under question mark.

Coritiba have the best defensive formation in whole league. They kept 14 clean sheets in 30 matches so far. They conceded exactly one goal per game. Sampaio as well should have problems with goalscoring today against strong Coritiba defence, they have only 2.9 shots on target per game (they are the worst in that department in whole league). In addition to that they coming for this game without their best scorer and key striker Ciel (8 goals and 3 assists in current season). It's a big blow for their firepower.

Coritiba is one of the best team with the ball in Serie B, when Sampaio is one of the worst. They should be able to control middle zone without too many problems and that should give them opportunity to create a lot of good chances to score. Sampaio conceded at least one goal in 7 of last 9 matches (in 5 of them they conceded more than one goal).

I see +60% ball possession for hosts, at least one goal for them and big possiblity for clean sheet. Coritiba should be able to win today's match to nil.
