In this moment they are in the 14th position, but it's mainly because they had some matches for UCL, then they got 14 players with Covid and then now their best topscorer of the last season Carlos JR to Al Shabab. They have only 4 points in 6 games, but today I expect an incredible react by them to get the wins back. They play at home, a very difficult stadium where every team from the league need to travel by plane to play in the island of Azores. In the last game against Rio Ave for the League Cup I expected a better Santa Clara even with the rotation, but they played very bad because their focus is all in the League. They don't have any absence and the must win is really high for Santa Clara. They are still playing very well this season, they made amazing games in the qualification for Conference League where they dominated every game apart from the last one against Partizan. Santa Clara don't have any absence for this game and so will go in full strength in an hard stadium and with a big must win.

Braga made an amazing season aswell in 2020/2021 until the last third of the league. After that they had a lot of games without winning and the coach said that it was because as they didn't have the chance to be champion they were all focused in the Portugal Cup against Benfica where they won 1-0. I expected Braga this season to be fighting for the season until the end, but they are playing really bad so far. They won only 3 games, against Maritimo where they played bad but scored 2 goals in 2 set pieces. Then, they won against Moreirense where they conceded the 2-2 after being 2-0, but then only scored in the last minute of the game in an incredible shot by Ricardo Horta and then won the last game of the league against Tondela, at home, where they only scored the 1st goal in the minute 82. I expect Braga having a lot of problems to have the ball, and just creating some situations by the speed of Galeno. They have a very important absence, the striker international for Spain, Abel Ruiz who suffered an injury in the last game and will be replaced by Mario Gonzalez. Mario is not good to play in possession, he is more dangerous in counters, but Braga will try to control the game with the ball and will be hardly pressured by Santa Clara. I think that Santa Clara must be more favorite here.
