Big problem with Leipzig is that they lost a lot of important player. Upamecano to Bayern very important defender. Sabitzer to Bayern it was their key midfielder. Konate an important defender who left to Liverpool.

They made additions to replace those players who left but really not the same level as the previous players imo.

City has a just an amazing squad, they have too much options offensively with Gabriel Jesus, Mahrez, Sterling, Torres.

Midfielder is really their key part with Kevin De Bruyne who was injured, he didn't play the previous game to be fit at the maximum for this game. Next to him we have Gundogan, Grealish, Bernardo Silva. Quality is really too high.

And there will be the difference on this game imo it's that Leipzig is a team who is used to play an offensive football so they need to at least to get a strong midfield but now it's much weaker.

They have been destroyed at home against Bayern on their last game and showed big weakness defensively against players with a high pace and that's how City will take advantage of that with Sterling or Mahrez.

City can't waste any point here as there is PSG in the group who is very favorites to qualify.

Since that Emirates are controlling City, Champions League has always been the first goal of the team so they are really not allowed to choke an early of competition.

With such quality on the field, with such a coach, at home against a team who lost too much key players I expect City to win this game easily, 3-0.
