I waited with this bet until last moment because I wanted to see the latest odds movements. Odds on hosts slashed down by 0.30 in last 1.5 hour on big Asian markets with the highest possible limit. I fully agree with this trend.

In my opinion Lorient have really good chances to make at least one point in today's match up.

So far in current season Lorient only once played at home. They played against Monaco-one of the title contenders and they recorded 1:0 win. In overall Lorient is really top class team at home. They won 9 of their last 11 home league matches. In 2021 they recorded 28 points in 12 matches at home in Ligue 1. It's the best result in whole league.

Of course, Lille are title defenders, but so far they not played on the level from previous season. Only one win in 4 matches, at home against Montpellier, but that wasn't convincing at all. I don't think Lorient is scarry of guests. In their last match against title defenders, they won 3:2 against Paris. Current Lille manager Jocelyn Gourvennec don't have the best record against Lorient-he won only 5 of 11 matches against them.

Lille defensive formation is very inconsistent at the moment, they conceded at least one goal in all of their matches in current season. On the other hand Lorient scored at least one goal in 25 of last 26 matches!

Lorient should be able to score at least one goal today (they were able to do it in last 16 Ligue 1 matches in a row, so why not today?). That should be enough to make at least one point today.
