We have so far seen two faces of Barcelona as after their excellent thrasing of strong Real Sociedad side they were taken into the hands of Bilbao away, where the coach Marcelino had set up a brave approach to press Barcelona's weaknesses.

The weakness nr 1 is the footwork of keeper Neto as he does not get comfortably rid of the ball, and the other one was the willingness of Barcelona to try to keep the possession at all times even if Bilbao pressed like mad men.

However with Getafe we have seen only one face. A bleak, shy, weak, boring, goalless and out of ideas, and they have been the worst team of the league on both rounds so far.

Pedri has finally been allowed to go on holiday but Sergi Roberto is a good stunt to him, Pique got injured last time and it was good to get Araujo in his place as he should be a starter anyway. Upfront the only bright performance last time came from Depay, but the home game showed that there is class, gas, speed, runs, dribbles and shots also in Braithwaite and Griezmann if properly fed, and that is what De Jong can do! He is likely the best player of La Liga this season.

Getafe...

almost a full game with 11 v 10 away in Valencia, and they did not only lose the game but also the xG-statistics! They got 22 shots which would be a good number, but most of them from very far away behind to box, they got blocked and were off target and created only little more than 1 goals worth of expectation.

A home v Sevilla they got even less chances, but admittedly the defense was rather decent and they were unlucky to lose by the added time goal of Erik Lamela. Against Sevilla they had 13 shots, but created less than 0.4 and to be honest it would had been wiser not to shoot any of those!

Getafe might miss their biggest threats here as right winger Vitolo is a doubt and Cucurella has been sold. The central midfielder Arambarri seems to have taken the decision of carrying the team on his shoulders by himself as he is the one that shoots, 9 shots by him so far! Bu they are from a long distance.

Getafe are currently my top favourite to drop, Barcelona are a title contender if all goes well, but at home they tend to destroy teams like this whatever deep defensing approach they have.
