Sevilla is my favorite here.

Getafe is almost the same team as last season, just made some transfers from average players and changed the coach who was great. The new one has a different style: while the previous one was very aggressive, intense and defensive, the new one is much more offensive and wants possession.

This means that players will have to change their mind and how they played in the last few years, and surely this will take time. In the previous game they lost 1-0 against Valencia and weren’t able to achieve the draw, in spite of the fact that they played against 10 players the whole match (Valencia received a red card in the first minute). That’s true also that Valencia’s goalkeeper was the man of the match.

On the other hand, Sevilla is one of the 4 best teams in La Liga. They have been doing a great job in the last seasons, and for this one improved the level of the team, signing interesting players like Lamela or Papu Gomez, and retaining the main ones for the team.

In the first round they won easily 3-0 against Rayo Vallecano, but they awarded a penalty + red card to the rival's goalkeeper at 15’ so we can’t take the result seriously.

This match will be good for Sevilla because they have problems against rivals who are defensive. Sevilla has problems to break defences and play against a team who uses a defensive system, but this won’t be the case. Getafe will try to take the ball and dominate the game, so Sevila will be able to create counter attacks and achieve chances easily. Against such teams is where Sevilla is more dangerous, where their talented players have spaces to run and make assists.

Getafe last season were close to being relegated, while Sevilla were fighting for the title until the last rounds. This year I see Getafe on a similar level and Sevilla even stronger, so I think that they are favorites here. In the last couple of years they already beat Getafe easily: 3:0, 0:1, 0:3, 2:0.
