Penafiel invested a lot to get promoted this season or even to be champion of the 2nd League, they bought 3 players from Feirense, the best player Feliz Vaz, the main right-defender Edson Farias, the left-defender Ruca. They bought Silverio from Academica and Roberto from Chaves, but they are failing to make a TEAM. Individually they are probably the 2nd or 3rd best team from the league, but as a team they are very predictable offensively, always playing from the wingers and then crossing to the area for the strikers Roberto and Ronaldo Tavares. They made a good game for the League Cup against Moreirense, but now we can see that was big demerit from Moreirense as they are one of the worst teams in field of the 1st League, then they won against the poor Vilafranquense that changed almost the whole squad for this season as they got demoted last season, but as Cova da Piedade failed to deliver the sign pappers Vilafranquense got caught up. And the most recent game was at home against Benfica B, a team that only tries to explore the counters with the speed of Umaro Embalo and Samu. Penafiel didn't create a clear chance of goal against Benfica, they are better when they play against a team that likes to attack so they can back the lines and make only counters as their striker Ronaldo is very fast and very strong physically. They will play probably against the best team playing in counters with the fastest wingers of the competition. I see them having more ball and trying to control the game, but a Casa Pia conceding that initiative as they know that they can hurt Penafiel when they lose the ball.

Casa Pia made a comfortable last season, but they could be fighting for the first places if they had a good pre-season. In the last season they only started the trainings 1 week before the competition starts and their first results were bad, including a loss at home against Benfica 6-0. Then with the progress of the league they improved from game to game and ended in the 9th position. For this season they invested and bought very good players to fight for the top 3 places. They bought Cuca from Mafra, Lucas Soares from Guimaraes B an amazing winger with a lot of pace and technique, the centre-back Vasco Fernandes who was the captain of Chaves and was already the captain of Vitoria Setubal 3 seasons ago. They are just missing a good striker, at the moment they are playing with Joao Vieira who played for Cova da Piedade last season but in my opinion is bad than the rest of the team. They are missing their main left-defender Derick Poloni, who in my opinion is the best of the league, but he already started to train and probably can be an option for tomorrow. In the last season, Casa Pia playing as away defeated Chaves, Feirense, Mafra and drew with Academica and Estoril. This is type of games that they like more, defending and playing very fast to the wingers. I expect them to score atleast one goal tomorrow and Penafiel have a lot of problems offensively and so I don't think that they will score 2 goals. They have the best player of this league in my opinion apart from the young talents of Benfica B and Porto B, the winger Godwin who is so fast and one of the best players I saw in Portugal 1 vs 1 and I can't understand how he is still playing for Casa Pia.
