In my opinion Borussia have really good chances to at least avoid loss in 90 minutes here. At the moment I don't see them as a underdog against Bayern and they have all required tools to grab a Super Cup today.

It's not only match for Super Cup, but I believe win here can have huge impact on title race in Bundesliga.

Borussia really looks like title contenders. They don't made too big changes in their team. Squad and tactic looks settled very well. On the other hand Bayern is in some kind of transformation with new coach Nagelsmann on the bench.

Borussia coming for today's match full of confidence. In opening match of the season they won 5:2 against dangerous Frankfurt. Borussia looked simply outstanding in offense. They scoring goals for fun. Trio Reus/Haland/Hazard looked unstoppable. Haland is in monstrous form at the moment and this is reason why I see huge troubles for Bayern today.

Bayern in opening league match had draw 1:1 on away against Gladbach. Of course, they had chances and they scored goal because Lewandowski is top class striker, but wings Sane/Gnabry doesn't worked at all. Left back Davies made a lot of silly errors in offense and because of that Bayern conceded a goal. New signed central defender Upamecano doesn't looked convincing as he is under huge pressure already, same as coach Nagelsmann. For sure is not easy situation to handle and is not easy to fix it in just few days. Bayern had 2.15 expected goals conceded number against Gladbach so I can image big troubles for them when they have to face Dortmund damaging offensive power. Hernandez and Pavard are still unavailable for defensive formation.

Bayern still didn't recorded a win with new coach on the bench. They looked poor even in friendly matches, in example when they lost 0:3 against Napoli. Central defenders pair Upamecano/Sule looks very unstable, on the other hand Borussia is full of confidence - 3 wins in a row (friendlies + league) and in each game they scored at least 3 goals. They should continue scoring today.. For sure team from Dortmund feels the blood today.

I trust for Borussia today and they are favorite for me, odds are wrong.
