In my opinion Auxerre have really good chances to make at least one point in today's match up.

In previous season Auxerre went unbeaten in both matches against Paris. They recorded impressive 3:0 win here so they coming for today's match full of confidence.

Both teams without any new important absences, so their line ups should look exactly the same like in previous round.

Auxerre finished previous season at 6th place and that was disappointment for the team. Now they wants to get promotion into Ligue 1. They still have coach Jean-Marc Furlan on the bench, I believe he learned on his mistakes from last year and we will see better Auxerre this season. They started in good style, in opening match they recorded 2:1 win on away against Amiens (10th place last season and only 4 losses at home). In second round they trashed at home Grenoble 3:0. In last round they had draw 0:0 at home against Ajaccio, but that was unlucky result - they deserved for 3 points. That was another high quality performance from Auxerre and that should be big boost of confidence for them. Auxerre lost only one player important player in pre-season - striker Bihan. Other formations knows each other very well and that shouldn't be problem for them to have consistency and good rhythm.

Paris on the paper looks impressive because they collected 3 wins from 3 matches, but in last round match they had a lot of luck. They won 2:1 on away against Le Havre, but Le Havre had higher ball possession, created more big chances to score and finished with more shots. If they will play on this level today, they will have big problems to make a win against strong Auxerre.

Auxerre is one of the biggest candidates to get promotion and I don't see them as a so big underdog in today's game.
