Atlanta started the season in very bad way under coach Heinze. He faught with almost all players starting from best player Josez Martinez who played only some games under him.

Last week Atlanta managed to get the 1st win in around 3 months against Columbus Crew 3-2 but the playoff places are still 8 points difference. So far Atlanta collected 18 points after 18 games, only 3 wins 9 draws and 6 losts.

However there is still room for improvement and Atlanta hired new coach Pineda who will be in charge today, after they had an interim coach for 2 games.

Pineda knows good the MLS as he have been a player for many years and is coming as a long experience as assistant coach of Seattle Sounders.

From Lille was also signed st Arajuo the 3rd most expensive player in MLS. He is expected to make the difference in this level.

Out for this game are mid Hyndman (11/1) and mid Ibarra (13/0). Back from suspension st Martinez (15/4).

Los Angeles FC in other hand is ranked 8th in Western Conference, collecting 23 points after 18 games and still in the playoffs race.

They are coming after a poor streak of results since the win is missing from 1 month and in last 5 games collected 3 losts, 2 draws.

It's one of the worst defensive teams in their conference probably because many experienced players left before the MLS start.

Also not so good names were sign despite Los Angeles FC have already a solid team.

Their goal is to reach at least the playoffs but so far struggled with missings players because of international duties or injuries.

Out for this game are def Seguera (16/0), st Opoku (4/0) and def Murillo (16/0).

This is a game between teams that failed the expectations so far but on paper they are still the strongest of MLS.

I think Atlanta have good chances to get at least a draw and change of coach should boost them.
