Afte the shocking relegation of last season Werder Bremen started the Bundesliga II with 4 points in 2 games. They draw the 1st game against Hannover 1-1 and win against Dynamo Dresden 2-3 thanks to a penalty in 96 min.

In midweek they lost the Cup game to 3rd Bundesliga team Osnabruck 2-0. Not only the result but also the game was very poor.

The current roster is very limited because of missing players and some others who left in transfer market.

In last days left best scorer st Sargent to Norwich in a 10millions€ fee, st Eggstein to Royal Antwerp and other st Osako to Vissel Kobe.

Also in transfer list are def Veljkovic and def Augustinsson who will be out for this game.

1st gk Pavlenka, mid Jacobsen, mid Mohwald and captain mid Bittencourt are out because of injuries.

So today according to coach Anfang will be the same lineups who lost against Osnabruck.

Paderborn last season finished in the middle of rankings without big ambitions. So far started with 2 draws against Nurnberg 2-2 and Heidenheim 0-0 both in the same level. They also eleminated from the Cup losing against Dynamo Dresden 2-1 but played with many reserves.

In transfer market they made big changes signing around 12 players mostly with good experience and some talents.

Coach Kwasniok was hired from Saabrucken and this is his 1st season in Bundesliga II.

Werder Bremen remain still a strong team but they have a lot of missings for this game. Against Osnabruck they played terrible while Paderborn showed signs of improvements this year.

I think they should take advantage of Werder Bremen short roster and take at least a draw.
