One of the most important games of the season for both teams. It's a very hot derby between St.Pauli and Hamburg and most of fans don't care how they will finish the season as the only important thing is to be better in rankings comparing to the opponent.

St.Pauli started the season with 4 points in 2 game, win against Holstein Kiel 3-0 and draw against Aue 0-0. In midweek they also managed to qualify from the Cup winning against Madgeburg 2-3.

Last season St.Pauli finished 10th without chances for promotion and relegation. In transfer market they bring some good players like Australian national mid Irvine and mid Hartel from Bundesliga I.

However they failed to confirm 2 of best players last season st Marmoush and mid Zalazar as they were on loan.

Coach Timo Schultz said "The city derby is a special game. We look forward to welcoming fans. It's going to be a hot dance, the opponent is in a good mood and, like us, got four points from the first two games"

Hamburg in other hand have big ambitions this year. As I wrote in last pick about them, they build a very strong team from transfer market. Also the coach Tim Walter is one of the best in this level.

In first 2 games they collected win against Schalke 1-3 and draw against Dynamo Dresden 1-1. In midweek win against Braunschweig 1-2 for the Cup.

Coach Walter said "We are HSV and want to shape the game for ourselves too. That is very clear"

Both teams are very motivated to win. In terms of rankings nothing will change as it's still very early while a win for either team will boost a lot.

Game to be played with around 10.000 fans.

I think in the end we could see a draw, Hamburg are favorites but they are still in adaption phase.
