As I have pointed out several times TPS are the biggest disappointment of the season and this league has been the most even so far, but the thing is that this is a bottom-3 club vs the best resources team who are improving their squad and performances, and are in full motivation and need of all 3 points.

It is rather unbelievable that after 13 rounds there is only 1 point between them, but this is about to change.

Last round the home side JIPPO visited HJK reserves Klubi04 in a match where they were defensiving deep most of the match, but had one chance from which Klubi scored an own goal. I was there myself watching, the fair score was about 2,3-0 instead of 0-1, but these matches have kept JIPPO in competition. It was similar to the first encounter in Turku where JIPPO robbed another and 0- 1 win after being in trouble for the whole 90 minutes. All in all, JIPPO are the weakest team of the league in my papers, but strict deep defensing has won them points.

JIPPO have centreback Hölttä suspended today, and as the gk Sorsa says in preview "JIPPO are massive underdogs tonight," even if they are at home, and the stormy weather might give them a hand.

TPS did strengthen a lot during past weeks, but even before that they had material-wise the best squad in this league. English midfielder Sonny Hilton returned to Fulham, but now ex-national team striker Kasper Hämäläinen is better fit than in his first games, and they also have top winger Atakayi from SJK, defender Sundman from SJK and scoring striker Mettälä on loan from another league club Ilves.

TPS have also scored more lately, and it is a result and getting into the attacking box more often, and they were also the unluckiest side so far in the goal expectation data.

TPS last loss is a month ago at home vs Klubi04, since then they are a totally different team and very likely to win the promotion back to Veikkausliiga. Anything else with this squad would be a massive failure.
