In my opinion Jamaica is clear favorite of today's match up and they should be able to make 3 points here.

In overall Jamaica have really good H2H against Suriname as they won 4 of last 5 matches against them. Last time 2:1 at home in Concacaf qualifications.

Match going to be played in Orlando at Exploria Stadium. I believe this is better option for Jamaican players because many of them like Blake, Powell, Lawrence, Fisher or Burke plays in MLS and knows this ground very well. Only one player from Suriname (Leerdam) plays currently in MLS.

Because of many players from MLS and USL in squad Jamaica have other huge advantage - they have players in full match rhythm and this is extremely important. They are in good form. Striker Cory Burke scored 2 goals in last 4 matches MLS matches. Left defender Lawrence showed excellent performance in his last match for Toronto (he scored a goal). Goalkeeper Andre Blake kept clean sheet 6 times in 12 matches and will be very hard to break him down today.

Suriname is really overrated by bookies here. Of course they recorded comfortable wins against poor teams Cayman, Aruba or Bermuda (all of them outside top150 in FIFA rankings), but when they played against Canada (#91, team worse than Jamaica) they lost badly 0:4. Jamaica currently don't have a good streak, but they played against strong teams (at least one class above Suriname) like Serbia or USA and they still were able to score goals against them.

I believe Jamica shouldn't have big problems with goalscoring today. I mentioned before Burke, but even more dangerous is left-footed Leon Bailey from Bayer Leverkusen. He scored 9 goals and made 8 assists in last Bundesliga season. Suriname the most important player is team captain, central defender Ryan Donk. Of course, he is experienced player (35 years old), but his mobility is very limited and he will have big problems against quick Bailey. Jamaica scored more than one goal in their last 3 opening matches in Gold Cup. I believe they are able to continue this streak today.

This is first Gold Cup for Suriname, they don't have experience in such matches. On the other hand it's 12th Gold Cup for Jamaica, they played in semi finals in their last 3 appearances in a row. They lost in big finals in 2015 and 2017. For sure they coming with big ambitions here and they wants to start tournament in good style. I trust for them.
