Playing at home at Estadio Olimpico Nilton Santos in Rio de Janeiro Brazil will not stop attacking if and probably when they take the lead making sure we have over 65% chance of winning the pick! Peru have struggled in defense even against a lot worse opponents than Brazil. They did beat Paraguay in their most recent match in penalties after a 3-3 score after ninety minutes. Once again they were far from solid in defense in that match. Overall the match was very balanced. Versus Ecuador Peru again allowed two goals and the final score was 2-2 but Ecuador were the better team and created more goal expectancy and would have deserved to win by one goal. Brazil did not have an easy time versus Chile a few days ago but this was because Gabriel Jesus was sent off early in the second half. Brazil definitely showed great character and team spirit to grab a 1-0 win as Chile are a good team and certainly better than Peru in my opinion.To sum up Peru won't likely be able to stop the Brazilian offense and as Brazil's defense is solid I see little chances for Peru to deny Brazil a very probable clash of the South American titans in the final - Argentina are huge favorites to beat Colombia in the semifinals.
