The fifteenth place isn't something a quality squad like Crystal Palace should celebrate. The Eagles are in worrying shape and this is the perfect opportunity to climb back to twelfth place. On the flip side, Sheffield United is having an awful second season after reclaiming their Premier League spot. They are by far the worst side in the league, gathering only two draws in sixteen matches. The guests are left without most of their starters, due to the COVID-19 outbreak in the club and will be a huge outsider for the upcoming duel.

The hosts will be without Sakho, Cahill, Wickham, Kelly, Hennessey, and Ferguson. After sharing points with each of Tottenham and West Ham, Crystal Palace went to lose 0-7 against Liverpool at home, followed by a 3-0 loss against Aston Villa. Still, Roy Hodgson's men kind of redeemed themselves after taking a point from Leicester. They have lost both times against Sheffield United last season, twice with a minimal 1-0 loss. However, the current Sheffield doesn't seem to recreate the previous results and will be likely aiming for just a point in this one. If the Liverpool game is to be left out of consideration, Palace has been solid in the defense this season. The offense is doing its job, led by Wilfried Zaha who has scored eight goals so far.

All of Lundstram, Sharp, Jagielka, McBurnie, Burke, Berge, and O'Connell will be absent from the Blades' squad. This is salt in the wound for the suffering side. They scored just eight times this season, having the worst offense in the league. The defense isn't the problem for this club tho. Sheffield United lost eleven games just by a one-goal margin, out of their total fourteen losses. Chris Wilder is a great manager, making his squad perform way over anyone's expectations last season. I believe this club has the quality to escape relegation, but this game just isn't the one.
