The players often look imprecise and disjointed. While Lukebakio stands out as a player in excellent form and a class above his teammates, he can’t carry the team single-handedly or be the MVP in every match.

Sevilla’s attack has been particularly poor, managing only 13 goals so far—one of the lowest tallies in the league.

On the other hand, Osasuna present a mixed picture. Despite this, the team still shows ambition, and I believe we’ll start to see their strong home performances translate to their away games over the course of the season. They’ve already done so in some matches, such as their 0:2 win at Real Sociedad.

At the moment, Osasuna are clearly superior to Sevilla in quality, form, and tactics. Sevilla often start games slowly, playing uninspired football and struggling to create meaningful attacking opportunities. If Osasuna approach this game boldly, pressing high and taking the initiative in attack, they’ll have chances to score. Given the form of their strikers, I expect them to capitalize on those opportunities.

Osasuna are unbeaten against Sevilla in their last six meetings (since 2021). In my view, they are the better team heading into this match. I don’t see Sevilla winning easily, and they could struggle significantly, especially against an intense, high-pressing team like Osasuna. This was evident when Sevilla faced Real Sociedad and lost 0:2.

Sevilla’s struggles and Osasuna’s relative strengths make this matchup far more balanced than the odds suggest.
