I am first to admit that the Honka season has not gone well so far, but to summarize the results and class I am still on that opinion that Honka are the better team of these two neighbours. There is 10km distance between the stadions, Honka have used this arena occasionally as their home ground so there is not much home advantage. Well, zero. There are more restrictions lifted in Finland as of today, so there will be people watching, about the normal amount.

HIFK have lost only 1 game so far, it was home to Inter a few weeks ago, and in general it has to be said that their schedule has been kind. Both promoted teams Oulu and KTP, and SJK and Ilves early when they were far from ready. Last week's win was deserved, but no in an easy way and scoring goals remains the main problem, and also a good day from the temperamental midfielder Mosa Yaghoubi is needed.

In my ranking HIFK are somewhere at 6-8th position, so the team is not actually a bad one, but definitely not a good either! They miss their top striker Tukiainen due serious injury, and also their number keeper Uusitalo as he is on loan from Honka. The replacement Ward has not played much, he is from very low tiers of England and I do not have full confidence on him.

Honka finally got another win when they took the away win at Oulu in a calm and patient way, and mentally it was an important one.

Honka have lost three matches recently by one goal, they would had deserved more from those but their too slow attacking style has not really been dangerous one. Fortunately for latest game they got back top striker Darren Smith, and the 0-2 goal was beautifully executed by Barcelona man Dongou.

Honka will again miss Alegria, who in my books would be their best striker and a likely target to get sold into a bigger league, but he has not featured much this season so he is no miss. Also team captain and midfielder Tammilehto is suspended, and I disagree strongly with his status, he is slow, predictable and violent. He would also have been in big danger of getting a red card today as he is a marked man and would had been provoked.

Mosa Yaghoubi, the HIFK star player, has played also for Honka and perhaps this is a perfect time to heat him up to a reckless tackle or two?

Honka are favourites to win, but the nature of the match will be decided on the pitch, I expect a very hot and hopefully entertaining encounter!
