Poland is in the group with Spain, Sweden and Slovakia. Spain stands out as the team that will most likely take the first place, and the remaining national teams will certainly look for their chance for the second position. Led by the great Lewandowski, in my opinion, the Poles have the best chance to take second place in the table. They qualified for this championship very safely from the first position in the group, although the group was not easy at all. In the competition of Austria, Macedonia, Slovenia and Israel, out of a maximum of 30 points, they managed to win as many as 25 with only 5 goals conceded in 10 matches. In addition to the already mentioned Lewandowski, Poland has a lot of other quality players such as goalkeeper Szcesny, experienced midfielders Krychowiak and Zielinski and many others. Given that the match is being played in St. Petersburg, there is no doubt that Polish fans will be in larger numbers and this will provide additional motivation for the players to open this championship in the best way.

Unlike the Poles, Slovakia does not have much experience playing in big competitions. This is only the third time they have participated in a tournament like this and many see them as the weakest team in this group. They qualified for this competition by a detour through the playoffs, by beating the Irish national team in a very bad game after a better penalty shootout. Certainly, the most expected in their team is from the experienced Hamsik and Kucka, but the big question is how much they will be able to do against extremely organized Poles.

An Unfavorable result in today`s match would certainly complicate the plans of the Poles, whose primary goal is advance to the next phase of competition, and I really believe that their quality will be best shown in today`s match.
