I must admit that I may have slightly underestimated them so far this season.. They fight hard and play well as a team. Moreover, according to my sources they have a strong team spirit! They, in fact, even have a better score difference than the visitors! At home they have lost only one home Eliteserien game this season! Today they will unfortunately be missing Nyenetue and Williamsen. The visitors will be without Knudtzon, Ranger and Roseth – all injured. Hoff and Solberg have suffered from injuries and are questionable.. Taking the substantial home advantage into account – with the expected lineups – the odds of around 1.80 on the away win are hugely too low! Indeed, the hosts have a 57.50% chance to avoid defeat here. They have taken 18 points but their number of expected points (xPTS) is somewhat lower. They have no clear weaknesses – or strengths in their game. Kristiansund have scored more goals than the visitors – 21 – and have allowed 24 goals. The Lillestrom have netted the ball only 20 times. Their offense has a relatively poor structure and they also lack creativity and passing accuracy near the opponents goal.. Furthermore, they have allowed 26 goals. They are vulnerable to fast counter attacks – this is something the hosts are, in fact, quite good at! I expect the hosts to be pretty defensive here – especially early on - even at home.. Yes, Kristiansund had, in all honesty, some luck on their side in this game. However, I want to highlight that Tromso are a dangerous team, despite having a difficult season.. I liked the way Kristiansund fought as a team in this tricky away game! The bookies should respect Kristiansund more, even taking into account that they have, as mentioned, been lucky in terms of xPTS. The bookmakers seem to expect Kristiansund - with a pretty narrow squad in terms of high-quality players -  to "run out of gas"  - and  seriously decline. Well, I do not expect that to happen – at least not in home games where they have been "fired up" in front of their loyal supporters!

Lillestrom faced Sarpsborg, currently in 13th place, in their last match. They were clear favourites on the betting marker but it was a disappointing 2-2 draw. Lillestro did generate more in xG though – as expected. In round 14 Lillestrom played well at home and Stomgodset were, in all honesty, disappointing as a whole.. They can play much better.. However, the hosts, who were pretty clear favourites in this match. They scored two quick goals (Olsen 15' and Kitolano 17') – as a result they gained big momentum and electrified their supporters.. Stromgodeset did not "surrender" though – Tomasson scored the 2-1 goal in the 32nd minute. I will not overreact to this good performance. In round 13 Molde gave Lillestrom very few chances at Aker Stadion. They took an early 2-0 win, lowering the tempo after the goals.. They  eventually cruised to a 3-0 victory, showing the difference between a top-team and mediocre team.. Lillestrom managed only one shot on goal. The xG numbers were 2.01-0.44.

Before being crushed by Molde, Lillestrom defeated KFUM Oslo 2-1 as clear favourites – priced around 2.00 to win on the betting market. However, both teams had the same number of goal attempts and shots on target KFUM had more shots off target and also recorded many more attacks and dangerous attacks – 51-35. Lillestrom's performance was mediocre at best as a whole. The xG numbers were 0.66-0.68. Before this Lillestrom took another - to some extent - undeserved win – this time over Tromso on the road..  Tromso had 56.40% ball possession and recorded more goal attempts, shots on goal, shots off target, attacks and dangerous attacks – 61-32. In round 10 Lillestrom were weak, losing to Odd 1-2 away from home as favourites on the betting market. Odd are currently in 15th place in the standings. Odd had more goal attempts, shots on target and shots off target in this game. They also generated much more in xG – 1.95-1.12! In round 9 Lillestrom were priced around 1.95 to beat Fredrikstad at home but lost 0-3 after a terrible performance! Lillestrom generated only 0.42 in xG and looked extremely disorganized in defence. I disliked their somewhat lazy performance in the second half when the score was still 0-1. . Aga scored the 0-2 goal from penalty (90th minute) and the demoralized Lillestrom allowed one more goal in injury time - (Sorlokk 90th+3´.
