In my opinion Brisbane have really good chances to make good result in today's match up.

According to bookies - this is 50/50 game, but I completely don't agree with that. Brisbane deserve to be strong favorite here. Currently Brisbane have great streak against Western as they lost only one of last 8 matches against them. Brisbane won last two matches at this stadium, last time 2:1 in middle of April. Brisbane in last 3 matches against Western had expected goals scored number above 2.43 and I can imagine the same story today.

Western have one of the worst defense in league, they conceded 1.7 goals per game so far. They conceded at least one goal in 10 of last 11 matches (in 7 of those matches they conceded more than one goal and their expected goals conceded number was above 2.00). They are really unstable at the back, they have huge problems with defending corners/free kicks. They conceded 20 goals from set pieces already. Manager Robinson is very disappointed about their performances in defense and current situation in league table, he said: '' We've defended like that all season to be honest, which is why we are in the position we are in.'' Brisbane don't have big problems with goalscoring in away matches, they scored 19 goals in 12 away matches so far. They scored 5 goals in last two rounds. In last match they won 3:0 at home against leader of the table from Melbourne, that was impressive performance and if they keeps to play on that level upfront they shouldn't have any problems with goalscoring against poor Western defensive formation. On the other hand Brisbane have second-best defense in whole league at goals conceded per match (1.0). In last round they were able to keep clean sheet against Melbourne City, the best offensive formation in whole league, so I don't see easy job for Western.

Teams are in totally different form - Brisbane won last two matches in a row, Western lost last 3 games in a row. Brisbane is on 5th place and have really good chances to finish inside top6 and play in big finals, on the other hand Western is 5 points behind 6th place and only 2 matches left, their motivation is under big question mark for me, their manager Robinson is not happy at all, he said: "But if I'm sitting here saying that I'm not disappointed and I don't think the group and me have failed, then I'm telling you a lie because our expectations were to get in the finals.''
