The home side Gnistan did last season almost a miracle with a managerial change late in the season, and they also signed a lot of new players to drag themselves out of safety. The team that was the worst in the first half of the season was almost the best one in the latter half, and thankfully because of attractive and attacking football. The team this season builds on that, and they might be one of the surprise packages to fight for promotion!

In the first roundt they visited league favourites VPS and were the better team until a stupid red card for young midfielder Tolonen, and at added time also the keeper Koski was sent out. Those two naturally miss out today, but the injury list is short or important players, and even several key players Anyamele, Liikonen, Cae and Kabashi are closing to match fitness. The replacing gk is Volotinen, who even does have international experience and from Veikkausliiga too, so that should be no problem at all.

The visiting MuSa side have played already twice. A 0-0 at home vs relegation candidate was a fair result as apart from a silly penalty - failed by their Japanese enforcement. Without that incident the xG for both teams was very close to 0. Last time around visited PK-35, only a few kilometres from this stadion, and were again restricted to very few scoring chances. The reason for that is that the is simply very weak, and the only tools they can find is defending, and hoping for something to happen randomly in the attack, perhaps by their 2 metres tall striker Koskinen.

A look at MuSa results reveals their class, and as they have also several injuries in their mediocre squad there is no reason to expect any improvement today.
