Rosario Central, sitting 8th in the Copa de la Liga Profesional, is having a poor season so far, as they had big expectations this year after winning the title last season surprisingly. However, this is their real level: a mid-table/TOP10 team.

With only 9 points on play, they are 5 below the TOP4/Qualification to the next stage, which is a very difficult task because they also have many teams above them fighting for those positions. So most probably they’ll be focused on other things. They have scored only 7 goals so far (11 games played), which means that they have one of the worst attacks in the Copa.

In both games they played well, having chances and deserving much more. However, in the two fixtures conceded late goals from 70’ onwards.

Barracas is very motivated because they are having one of their best performances in recent history, so they are playing with a lot of confidence. They have been a very difficult team to beat and seeing their current level of football and motivation, I dont see Rosario able to do it. Especially because Rosario will be lacking motivation and playing with a mixed squad.
