In my opinion Everton have really good chances to make good result in today's match up. I don't see Aston Villa win at all here.

Aston Villa won first match of the season between both teams, but they didn't won twice in one season against Everton in last 20 years.

When Everton lose 1:2 at home against Aston Villa that was very close match and Everton even finished with 3 shots more. Not so surprising result as both teams plays better on away than at home ground. Aston Villa in current season lost 8 times at home, only 2 relegated teams (Sheffield & Fulham) have more losses. On the other hand Everton recorded 11 wins in 17 away matches and only Manchester City (champions) have more. Both teams prefer to play from counter attack and that should make big difference today.

Aston Villa is still without their best player and team captain Jack Grealish. In addition to that their top striker Watkins (he was man of the match in first match between both teams) is unavailable today. Without this duo will be very hard to break Everton defensive formation. Everton have second-best defense in whole league in away matches. They didn't conceded a single goal in last 3 away matches in a row.

Motivation as well is big factor here. Everton still have big chances for European Cups so for sure they wants to win today match. On the other hand Aston Villa is in the middle of the table and plays for nothing till end of the season.
