KuPS did miss two important pieces ahead of the season from the midfield, but they made new signings and defensively they are the league’s best team, which is easily shown by their two recent clean sheets vs top club HJK The injury situation is unchanged from the cup final.

KuPS will make Lahti play building difficult and they can organize a well-synchronized and high pressure, and as they are also likely to dominate the ball possession the Lahti chances rely on succesful transitions by Assehnoun in the wing, and set-pieces, but KuPS are also perhaps the most dangerous in their own set-pieces, and their keeper Virtanen is safe is in his own box so in my papers KuPS are better in every single department on the pitch, and off the pitch as KuPS coach winner is a proven winner, Lahti coach Zeneli has only started last season on this level.

The match is on natural grass, which is a new surface for both as the spring has only recently started, but later in the summer it might be a bit of an edge to home side.
