I did preview SJK last round, and expected them to beat the -1.5 asian handicap against newly promoted KTP side. Despite having more than 20 shots they failed, one of the shots was a poor penalty shot by team star player Emmanuel Ledesma.

SJK should always be in top-3 as they have huge resources, but the unreliable and unpredictable club management always create an atmosphere where it is hard to succeed. A lot of pressure, short term results required and so on. They have now the manager Honkavaara who led KuPS to the title, and enough players for two quality lineups...

but the problem is team building and roles, there are too many players fighting for the same positions, especially in the midfield.

Today they have the same 3 players than v KTP,

Mehmet Hetemaj, Tero Mäntylä & Walter Viitala and it means practically nothing at this point.

HIFK won their opening match v Haka by 2-0, it was an even game where also Haka had more than 10 scoring chances but it was not meant to be on that day. There has been a huge turmoil at HIFK this past winter with changing owners, managers and most of the players, and as it happens there are several people now with background at SJK!

Matej Hradecky, Keaton Isaksson, Jeremiah Streng and Aatu Kujanpää played at SJK, tonight Streng is unavailable.

SJK are hard to predict and usually make not much appeal as big favourites as they are doomed to fail in the long run, but to me it seems that there is now too much emphasis in first round results, as whatever problems there are then SJK are in all departments a better team than HIFK, who also still have huge issues on their own.

So both likely to have same lineups than last round unless there are tactical changes, and I believe in the expertise of the Spanish - speaking players in set pieces at SJK who scored a beauty of a well-rehearsed corner kick goal last time.
