In short, this is a match between a club with top resources and huge ambitions and who have almost a full squad, against a team who got promoted out of the blue last season, and who are currently weaker than they were at the promotion time! Home side is clearly a professional side, the away team are local kids combined with some cheap foreign players who are hoped to be good.

SJK should be with their resources always a top-3 team but the club management always tend to fail them down. They buy a lot of  quality players, but often they do not focus on building the team properly but they may have several - too many - players for the same position, and the ones not playing get frustrated and leave the team by halfway the season.

SJK have the manager who led HIFK to promotion, KuPS to league title so they have all the elements to do well, the stadion was rebuild a few seasons to go and they are important to the area and take this league seriously.

KTP have 3 league teams this off-season. A loss to HJK by 6-1, to Lahti 3-0 and to HIFK 1-0 tells us everything there is currently to know, I hope they can improve the team soon or this will be a horrible season for them.
