FC Famalicao vs GD Chaves

Famalicao is in 8th place but overall it's one of the best teams in Portugal if it comes to playing good football, the reason is simple, they have good players but also an excellent Coach in my opinion who came back to the team and since he arrived Famalicao has been solid once again like they where when he was their. However, in the last 5 league games Famalicao hasn't won any game, 3 draws and 2 losses but the schedule was a tough one and their losses where against Porto and Benfica and in the last game they lost 0:3 against Benfica on the road but they played a really good game, don't let the result fool you, Famalicao played a very good game and had chances to get a draw in that game but missed great chances and in the end they suffered 2 late goals, but overall they play a really good game and now at home, nothing better to face the worst team in the league to get back on the winning track.

Good news for Famalicao is they don't have any injuries concerns for this game.

GD Chaves is sitting in last place and things don't look good at all, it will be tough for them to survive unless somehow they start to play better has a whole team and with the new Coach they got maybe it will happen but so far I don't see any improvements at all because their defensive line is by far the worst in the league, 39 goals against in 15 games is really bad and if they don't fix that I don't see them surviving in the league. Also, Chaves on the road has been really awful, 1 win and 7 losses with 4-23 in goals and even they only lost 0:1 against Porto in their last game they played awful and Porto played a control pace without forcing but before that they suffered 4 goals from Estoril and 3 from Casa Pia, so the defensive issues are still their for sure.

For this game Chaves is without Pinho, Sylla and Nogueira.

Two teams are coming after losses against top teams but Famalicao showed solid football and Chaves looked lost like all season long, so nothing better for Famalicao been at home and receiving a struggling team to come back to winning track, for me they are way superior than this Chaves team but Famalicao only issue in that they do create many chances but have a hard time to score goals with those chances but facing the worst team in the league should give them more confidence for this game and with all the defensive problems that Chaves has I expect Famalicao to take advantage of that and get here the important 3 points.
