Birmingham have now fired two managers so far when Wayne Rooney got the sack after horrible results on recent weeks. Their latest 15 games have brought mere 10 points to the bag, before him the coach Eustace had Birmingham in the top-6, where they also belong.

Was signing Rooney the worst decision of all leagues this season, at least by results it might be. Today's match will be covered by U21 coach Spooner, who is likely to field a very strong lineup as Birmingham have little to play for in the league, they should be well in safety.

Hull are aiming promotion play-offs, and the FA Cup is more of a distraction at this point. There are good young individuals in the team, but 4 of them are out today. Morton and Philogine are out due injury and suspension, Seri and Traore are at the African Nations Cup.

They are all midfielders, all key players, and it would be no wonder if Hull decide to rotate even more.

Birmingham are in the league at 20th spot, 6 points in safety, and even if the gap looks big positionwise in the table there is little if any difference in the player materials, especially now when Hull have to reshuffle their midfield altogether.

This is a very 50/50 match, might even consider taking Birmingham to win here!
